EMPOWERING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
TO BECOME SELF-RELIANT BY STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES
PROGRAMSOur programs are based on principles of self-reliance with a “teach them to fish” premise where they determine what they really "need" to succeed. We apply these principles at all levels: individual, project, and institutional.
Therefore, we use a holistic approach in the areas of Life-Skills training, Education, Health, Orphan Care, Micro-Enterprise, Water & Agriculture and Community Empowerment. |
powerful projectsWe facilitate various holistic projects that save lives, teach skills and provide opportunities for life-long self-reliance among those with whom we work. We have short-term, long-term, donor specific and general ongoing projects and campaigns, that will allow everyone who wants to make a difference, an opportunity to help others. We invite you to select a Powerful Project that appeals to you and then DONATE to get it done!
|
GET INVOLVEDWe always strive to be responsible in our management of all donated funds. We cannot solve all of the problems or help everyone. We are like the child on the seashore trying to save as many starfish as we can. We commit to maximize our effectiveness and invite you to help us by getting involved. Our hope is that together, we can save many more starfish.

Be part of HELPING INDIVIDUALS with disabilities to THRIVE ! Be part of the SOLUTION!
In Uganda, Africa, where many disabled children are abandoned and left on the streets to fend for themselves,
an Angel of Mercy names Halima is running a school to help these individuals to become as self-sufficient as they are able.
She teaches sign language to the hearing impaired, knitting and sewing to the visually impaired
and life skills to all. She houses orphaned students who have no home and weekly students who live far away.
When you give $1 to 'Where Needed Most',
We can make Halima's vision so much brighter by helping her to house and teach these remarkable individuals.
The opportunity to live lives of independence and meaning is all they ask. YOU can help them achieve that goal.
